AdWords Geo TargetingWhat is geo targeting? How can it help my campaign?
Did you know you can also exclude areas within a state? In addition to geo targeting - you can exclude areas. For example - a current NSW customer of mine provides a service in many areas around NSW - but not all. So using a reverse application of the geo targeting - Google allows us to exclude certain areas from receiving the adverts. This means the customer budget goes further and gets better value - by applying their advertising spend only to areas where they deliver service. A generic search in a neighbouring town can be excluded - saving the click cost from a customer they can't service - and leaving that budget available for a customer they can.
